Community Comes Together at Leprechaun Chase to Support Local Cancer Patients

The Chamber of Commerce Leprechaun Chase brought energy, generosity, and community spirit to Brigantine during the week of March 9, as participants gathered for an evening of fun while supporting a meaningful cause.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and kindness of attendees, the event raised just over $500 in donations to benefit the South Jersey Cancer Fund (SJCF). Participants also enjoyed fun swag bags distributed during the event.
Adding to the spirit of giving, one event winner generously donated their prize—a gift basket featuring a candle warmer—back to the organization. The item will be included in an upcoming SJCF basket raffle, further extending its impact.
A team of spirited volunteers helped bring the event to life. Karen Santoroski, Debbie Caprioli, Gregg Slimski, Johanne Milnes, and Karen Peacock were recognized for their enthusiasm and contributions in making the evening a success.
Organizers expressed their gratitude to all who attended and contributed, noting that community support plays a vital role in continuing their efforts.
With the success of events like the Leprechaun Chase, SJCF is able to continue providing critical assistance to those facing cancer throughout South Jersey—demonstrating once again the power of a community coming together for a common cause.
