Prior to her retirement in 2012, she was a Human Resources Manager with the Rohm and Haas/Dow Chemical Company for 35 years. Ann’s connection to Brigantine began in 2016 and she moved full-time to Brigantine from Horsham, PA in 2021. She also volunteers with the Brigantine Farmers Market, American Legion Auxiliary, Lion’s Club, the local food pantry, and Elks Veteran’s Committee, as well as SJCF.
Susanne Peterson, Vice President
Susanne was born in Atlantic City and has been a resident of Brigantine for over 60 years. From an early age, Susanne exhibited flair and a love for the arts, enjoying ballet, theatre, acting, and modeling. She served on both the Brigantine Beach Arts Commission and the Economic Development Committee. She is a lifetime member of the Brigantine Historical Society and served as Board Member of the South Jersey Cancer Fund. Her paintings have been accepted in various juried art shows and she sells her work exclusively for charity, mostly to the South Jersey Cancer Fund.
Kathy Kepley, Secretary
Kathy was also born in Atlantic City and has been a resident in Brigantine for over 40 years. She has worked in Healthcare Administration in Atlantic County for many years. Kathy did not hesitate to join SJCF and volunteer her service as Secretary. She was affected at an early age by this disease in her family. Knowing the heartache and hardship this disease can put on a patient and their family she wanted to be involved in helping to support those in need of help when they needed it the most. Kathy feels that by joining the cancer fund she can help those with cancer because “it’s a wonderful cause and helps many without hope.”
Anne Breyer, Treasurer
Anne has served as Treasurer for the past 8 years. Before taking over this volunteer position, Anne worked at the Philadelphia Gas Works, the largest municipal gas distribution company in the country for 37 years in various financial and accounting positions. She served as the Director of Financial Reporting when she retired 8 years ago. As a breast cancer survivor for 10 years, she feels that this was a way to utilize her accounting background to benefit a worthy cause.
